Sveta has played along side internationals guests such as, Frankie Knuckles, Alan Thompson, Victor Calderone, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Mrs. Woods, BK, Pete Wardman, Wayne G, Rachael Aurburn, Gonzales, Fergie, Barry Harris, Neil Lewis and Stephen Allkins a.k.a. [love] Tattoo. In 2003, Sveta played at Australia's biggest music festival, THE BIG DAY OUT , Djing in between Chicks on Speed and Gonzales in the Hot House. She recently supported The Detroit Grand Pubahs and Larry Lee at Killer for Fuzzy and is about to launch the Sydney Opera House's new Recording Studio with Deiter Meier from legendary electronic band Yello . Sveta also specializes in thematic events including art openings and launches. She has also frequently played for Transmission and Earthcore events.
Sveta travels frequently around Australia and had played overseas, including Toronto, Canada in 1998. In 2001 Sveta was selected to headline the Annual "World AIDS Day" charity dance party in Tokyo Japan , playing at CODE Nightclub, Shinjuku , Tokyo's largest dance space. She made her debut in New York in 2001 at Daddy's Bar, before being selected as MTV's Music Generator PS2 game local representative along with David Morales.
In 2002, Sveta appeared at the Annual "HERO" dance party in Auckland, New Zealand, headlining along side Crazy Penis (Paper Recordings), [love] Tattoo and Dick Johnson (Shaboom). In June/ July 2002, Sveta headed to London to play at the legendary Torture Garden Fetish night along with a headlining set at London's Mardi Gras in the FIST tent and the monthly FIST parties. She also made appearances at the Purple Turtle Bar in Camden and Seed nightclub in Angel.
The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) has recognized her contribution to the dance music scene over the years by selecting her as one of the top DJ's around Australia who compile the official weekly ARIA Dance chart. At the 2001 ARIA Awards, she was further honored as one of the DJs chosen to select the award for the Best Australian Dance Artist/Track of the Year. In 2002, 2003 and 2004, she was selected as a specialist judge for the ARIA Awards .
She has mixed two commercially released CD's; Mardi Gras' Millennium commemorative CD in 2000, and Elastic Vol 1 , on Universal records in 2001 which featured "Phoenix", the first of several original music collaborations between Sveta and Tonemeister, which featured a remix by internationally renowned electronic band Infusion.
Sveta maintained a solid 12 years on underground community radio station 2SER-FM and joined FBI upon their launch. She has also hosted programs on other community stations such as all-dance station Radio Dex and Free-Fm. Sveta has made five appearances on Triple J's Mix up over the last six years as well as appearing as a special guest song presenter on Will Anderson and John Spencer's Breakfast Show.
She is among the few underground DJs that have crossed-over to a diverse audience of straight, gay, young, old, queer and fetish audiences.
Sveta currently holds residencies at 'Shmutzig' at the Phoenix, 'Sweat' and 'Moist' at Arq, 'Kingki Kingdom' at The Sly Fox, 'Gurlesque' at the Imperial, 'Snatch & Grab' at the Flinders and is also a regular guest with music/art/fashion collective ' Bang Gang' at Moulin Rouge. She is currently planning some art/music collaborations in 2005 with The Kingpins at Artspace.
Sveta is capable at grabbing hold of a dance-floor and taking it to the edge with a spellbinding mix of music that will leave the collective audience absolutely breathless.
